Oscar Wilde & Bosie
Oscar Wilde was born on 16 October 1854, which makes him a Libra Tiger 6 of Clubs and Queen of Hearts.
The Queen of hearts is the neptune of neptune cards. She is the most dreamy and sometimes dotty member of the cards. It’s easy for her to fall into fantasies, overindulgence, and whimsy.
Of course, Wilde was known for being a sparkling wit, with such epigrams as:
“The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it… I can resist everything but temptation.”
“I choose my friends for their good looks, my acquaintances for their good characters, and my enemies for their intellects. A man cannot be too careful in the choice of his enemies.”

Bosie, Oscar Wilde’s lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, was born 22 October 1870, making him a Libra Horse King of Hearts and six of hearts. A king of hearts would like others to believe he rules their hearts. For Wilde, this was unfortunately the case. There can be no doubt that his relationship with Bosie ruined his life.
Bosie’s first karma card is the 2 of clubs making him extremely argumentative and fearful. In his early life he was known as a thoughtless, impetuous person. Libra Horses are known for choosing their alliances based on money. By all accounts, Bosie didn’t actually get any better later in life, marrying a heiress but bitterly denouncing Wilde up until the very end of his life.
The most significant connection to examine is the connection between Oscar Wilde’s planetary ruling card, the queen of hearts, and Bosie’s birth card, the king of hearts. This makes Oscar Wilde Bertie’s moon card.
This explains why Oscar Wilde broke up and reconciled with Bosie so many times. He felt drawn to him because Bosie was Wilde’s sun card. However, if you want to focus on your career, you shouldn’t be with your moon card, because you’ll always play the supporting role to them. This was shown when Wilde asked Bosie to translate his Salome play from French to English, and Bosie did such a terrible job that Wilde had to re-do it himself, and then he gave the credit to Bosie.
It’s difficult to see what Wilde saw in Bosie, when Bosie betrayed him over and over again. Bosie had a habit of going to a number of male prostitutes, then giving his old clothes to them, often with letters from Wilde still in the jacket pockets. He encouraged Wilde to sue his father, the Marquess of Queensbury, a suit which he lost, and for which he was sent to prison. The letters the prostitutes found were later used in court as proof of Wilde’s homosexuality.
Sometimes the six of clubs can be so focused on work (due to the 8 of spades karma card) that they can be incredibly naive about relationships. Wilde’s first karma card for his PRC, the 10 of spades, is another card that can be work focused to the exclusion of all else.
